Dan

About

Tribe descended from Jacob's son by Bilhah. Originally allotted territory in the coastal lowlands, but later migrated north to Laish, renaming it Dan (Judges 18). Notably absent from the list of sealed tribes in Revelation 7.

Dan will judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan will be a serpent on the trail, an adder in the path, that bites the horse's heels, so that his rider falls backward. I have waited for your salvation, Yahweh.
