Description
Daughter of Aiah; concubine of Saul. After her sons were hanged by the Gibeonites, she kept watch over their bodies on the rock from harvest to the rains, refusing to let beast or bird touch them, until David granted them a proper burial. The dispute over her between Ish-bosheth and Abner triggered Abner's defection.
