Description

Grandfather of Jehu king of Israel; Jehu is regularly identified as 'son of Nimshi' even though his father was Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi (1 Kings 19:16; 2 Kings 9:2, 14, 20; 2 Chronicles 22:7).
