Description
Sister of Martha and Lazarus; sat at Jesus' feet to hear his word (Luke 10:38-42). Anointed Jesus' feet with costly nard and wiped them with her hair just before his Passion (John 12). Distinct from Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Jesus.
