Description
Firstborn of Isaac and Rebekah, twin of Jacob; a skillful hunter. Sold his birthright to Jacob for a meal of red lentil stew, and lost his blessing to Jacob through Rebekah's stratagem. Settled in Seir; father of the Edomite peoples.
