Barzillai the Gileadite

Description

Wealthy old man of Rogelim in Gilead who provided for David at Mahanaim during Absalom's revolt; declined David's offer to go up to Jerusalem because of his age. David charged Solomon to show kindness to his sons (1 Kings 2:7).
